I like building useful tools from scratch, especially backend services, APIs, databases, automations, and small products that solve real problems. I’m also interested in performance engineering and quantitative research.

About Me

My Story

I'm currently pursuing a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

I enjoy turning messy problems into practical software, whether that means designing an API, cleaning up data, improving a workflow, or making a tool easier to use.

Recently, I’ve been working on queue-backed APIs, data scraping and ingestion tools, and parallel computing projects.

What I Do

Software engineering: backend and full-stack projects, with a focus on clear code, validation, testing, and maintainability.

Quant and finance: building tools for market data, financial modeling, and structured evaluation instead of relying only on intuition.

Roles I'm Targeting

Software Engineering Internship

  • •Backend and full-stack work involving APIs, databases, caching, async jobs, and automation
  • •Most comfortable with TypeScript/Node, SQL/Postgres, and React/Next.js
  • •I care about readable code, testing, and understanding how things behave under real usage

Quant Finance Internship

  • •Quant research or trading work where careful data work and evaluation matter
  • •Interested in time-series data, optimization, simulation, and backtesting
  • •Strong Python foundation, with C/C++ experience from systems and parallel computing work
